- Fear Combat [MOD MMO RPG]
- Development of a roleplay alternate reality simulation game inside the virtual world of Second Life.
Using internal scripting and a web backend for persistance, we're developing a system around combat,
everyday living, and jobs. The stats are unlike normal RPG's because they fall under more practical
names rather than 'speed' 'armor' 'mana' 'energy'.
- Open Galaxy [MMO VR]
- My goal is to make a massive multiplayer online virtual reality system, organized around most of the
fundamental rules of the universe. Some basic outlined concepts are:
- Universal Micro-Payment System: Virtual Currency with little to no fee schedule,
with a web API for websites to use for everyday transactions.
- Dynamic Weather + Terrain: Tides, Clouds + Storms, Seasonal, Erosion.
- Traversable Scaled Galaxy: Solar Systems, Various Planets (can be Themed Sub-Networks), Large Continents.
- Managed Server Storage: Prevent content abuse by requiring approval for public planet assets.
- Micro-Economy: Building clothes requires cotton/tools, recycling cans results in metals/ore, this will create a stock/marketplace with dynamic values, virtual goods will have tangible values even for junk which can be resold to recycling plants.
- Cell Based Loading: Precache download of surrounding area should be a 'loading'-less environment unless travelling at higher speeds than bandwidth can keep up with.
